Chapter 5 Supervision and Administration Article 45 the aqsiq shall implement a safety monitoring system for imported and exported meat products, formulate key monitoring plans based on risk analysis and the actual situation of inspection and quarantine, and determine the types of imported and exported meat products and inspection items under key monitoring in the country or region. The inspection and quarantine institution shall, in accordance with the annual risk monitoring plan of aqsiq for import and export food safety, formulate and implement the risk management plan for imported meat products within its jurisdiction.
