SEATTLE – May 18, 2021 – DigniFi, an automotive financing platform, and AutoNation, Inc. (NYSE: AN), America’s largest and most admired automotive retailer, today announced the launch of AutoNation Pay, a dynamic approach to financing for auto services and upgrades. AutoNation customers can now apply for AutoNation Pay and be matched with the best financing option available. Customers who are approved for a revolving line of credit will be able to use their card at AutoNation’s 230 dealerships for repairs, tires, accessories, extended warranties, and maintenance programs.
“For years, DigniFi has helped AutoNation keep our customers and their families safe by making critical repairs more affordable,” said Dave Wilmore, SVP of Customer Care & Brand Extensions at AutoNation. “AutoNation Pay builds upon this successful partnership by adding more financing options that customers can use as often as they need. With a difficult winter behind us and a summer of road trips ahead, we believe this is an important time to make service financing convenient and accessible for our customers.”
AutoNation Pay is powered by DigniFi, a platform that helps consumers afford auto related purchases with flexible payment terms. Customers apply for AutoNation Pay on their personal smartphone and receive a decision from a lender in minutes. AutoNation Pay is available to customers across the credit spectrum and can help individuals rebuild their credit scores as they make timely payments.
Customers will be invited to apply for AutoNation Pay in the service drive, where advisors can text them a link. The AutoNation Pay application is also available online at https://autonation.dignifi.com/apply/. In addition to service, cardholders may use AutoNation Pay for accessories to personalize their ride. Popular upgrades include leather seats, lift kits, and protection packages.
Through this partnership, DigniFi will contribute to AutoNation’s Drive Pink (DRV PNK) Initiative, which has raised more than $26 million for cancer research and treatment. The iconic DRV PNK license plate is available at no charge to any driver who visits an AutoNation store.
“We admire AutoNation’s commitment to taking the stress and uncertainty out of auto repairs,” said DigniFi CEO, Richard Counihan. “Too often, auto financing options are unfairly biased against the families that need them most. We believe people are more than their credit score, and with partners like AutoNation, we can help drivers stay safe and get the most of their vehicle.”
