ST. CHARLES, Ill. — Rogers Freedlund Jr., the founder of American Guardian Warranty Services, died Feb. 20 at age 77.
He worked for Allstate insurance company and Pat Ryan & Associates and then moved to Western Diversified Inc., where he built the company’s automobile warranty program. In 1989, he started North American Warranty Services Inc. In 1998, he founded AGWS, which he led until his retirement and the sale of the company to Reynolds and Reynolds on Feb. 1, 2023.
